APEN Conference Presentations and Papers, Great Resources for Extension Professionals.

The Australasia Pacific Extension Network (APEN) Conference was held in Darwin Australia on September 12th and 13th, 2019.  The conference theme was – Extension’s role in climate, rural industries and community challenges.

The conference presentations provide a great ongoing resource.

The papers that are published in the Rural Extension and Innovation Systems Journal are also very useful for extension professionals.

The APEN conference is an international forum for rural and community extension practitioners and advisers, researchers and academics to combine the best extension practice and research from developed and developing countries.

The next conference will be in 2021 and the proposed theme is:

“Looking to the future: the role of extension and education”

It will be held in Rotorua, New Zealand.
